SDYFC

Hello my name is Jason Wood and I am the Director of South Derbyshire Youth for Christ (SDYFC).

We are a Christian ministry that specialises in working with young people and expressing our faith in relevant and practical ways.  We at SDYFC believe that the Christian faith is relevant to all young people and we try and show that through the work we do and the lives we live.

This includes working within the local schools; where we get along side young people and help them with their work.  Working in the local communities; where we run clubs and trips to places.  And in things like social action, where we do something that helps benefit the local community, recently we did some gardening at a local care home.

In short, we believe God loves every young person and He wants the best for them in all aspects of their lives.  God wants them to reach their ‘full potential’; academically, emotionally, physically, and of course spiritually.  SDYFC is a ‘whole person’ ministry and we try to minster to the whole person.
