The Base
The Base is a group for 6-11 year olds and we cater for all children in the local vicinity. The group meets on a Tuesday afternoon 5-6.30 during term times and we enjoy crafts, stories and drama, music and action songs, fun games and outdoor games (weather permitting!) and quiet and ‘me’ time. Not forgetting juice and biccies!
We are focussed on creating a safe and fun environment for local kids to get to know each other and enjoy being part of a dynamic growing group who know how to care and respect for each other and their community. The Base is community focussed with a family theme, and we like to include the whole family in our fun days and parties and particularly at seasonal events where the children take part in church services and show off their acting skills!
Children at the group enjoy the social aspect as well as the new skills they learn throughout the session and the leaders have learned so much from the children of our community as well.
